The best ideas are often born from a gaping hole in the market. For retired veteran Charlie Milone, that gap came after firing six lawn care businesses he hired to look after his property. In short, Charlie got fed up with people not showing up on time, taking no pride in their work, and showing zero responsibility when something went wrong. So he decided to start his own tree and lawn solutions business.

We have some Yucca’s in our pool area that look fantastic but were becoming too big to manage. So we organised “Milone’s” to come and take care of them for us. They were absolutely amazing from start to finish. A text, a phone call and some pictures were exchanged, followed by a very reasonable quote. We received a confirmation text the day before advising a time. They were punctual and it was done in no time at all. The team were friendly, efficient, well organised, professional and clean and tidy. Everything was cut to perfection, taken away and care was taken when cleaning up afterwards. No mess, no damage, no worries. They were even very protective of our new grass. I would definitely recommend Charlie and his team without any hesitation for your next job. Tree Trimming Port MelbourneI was very happy with the job Kim and the boys from Milone's did. They are a very professional unit with all the right equipment which means everything is done efficiently. They trimmed my very tall pittosporums nicely to a metre above the fence line and also completed small jobs on the roof such as mortaring a loose tile and meshing a disused chimney. This meant I didn't have to get expensive tradesmen in to do these separately. The trees look great and the price was good. They cleaned up afterwards and were lovely to deal with. I thoroughly recommend them.

I contacted Milone`s Tree & Lawn solutions for advice on a rather large tree that I had growing in my front yard . Charlie came round within an hour of my initial contact . Exceptional service . After some discussion a plan was made to remove the tree . This was scheduled to happen within a few days . The job was completed safely and with great attention to detail .All the crew that came , were professional and friendly All areas were left clean and tidy . Kim and his colleagues came and trimmed a large robinia robusta tree to center it more to stabilize it in high wind events. Although the tree probably only has a few more years left, it is an important neighborhood tree and I am very happy with how it looks after the trim. Being up trees with chainsaws is dangerous, so I picked Charlie's company because he was fully insured and forwarded evidence prior to me booking the team. The other reason I picked Milones is because they use qualified arborists not 'tree loppers' Thank you team, I'm very happy with your work.

Milone's were contracted by the Melton Council to trim all the nature strip trees - they did a fantastic job not only removing overgrown branches but ensuring the tree's shape and integrity was not compromised. The team at Milone's tree and lawn solutions are a cut above the rest.After the recent storms I noticed some precariously hanging branches in the top of the old sugar gum in the backyard. I contacted Charlie and explained that I wanted to preserve as much of the tree as possible; Charlie and Kim came and assessed the situation and put together a quote.Kim is extremely knowledgeable and honest and this gave me alot of confidence that I found the right guys for the job. After frustrating encounters with the State Emergency Services and an unhelpful insurance provider, I reached out to Charlie. His responsiveness was impressive; he called me back within minutes of me contacting him for a quote based on photos provided and swiftly mobilised his crew to assess the situation as they were in the area. He then provided a fairly priced quote within the hour and got his crew on the job after I had accepted the quote via text message. The team not only removed the fallen tree but also took care of the standing part that looked like a risk, providing pictures of the completed work while I was at work. I had a large intricate project that involved removing substantially high trees within close proximity to power lines and had restrictive access. Many local arborists in Werribee would not even touch the project, they came out to inspect the job and never sent a quote. We are very pleased with the work done by Charlie, Nick and Alexis in getting rid of our unwanted Yuccas. They were careful and skillful in removing them from difficult locations, such as near our house and our new concrete path. Attentive customer service and professional attention to detail were very much our experience when Charlie trimmed of our so-called "3 meter" gum tree and reshaped the dwarf orange flowering gum. We are delighted both with the results of Charlie, Tom and Alexis's efforts and with Tom's valued pruning advice for a couple of much younger trees. But there is something more which isn't all that common in these times: The Charlie Milone that we encountered is a humble, down to earth guy.
